Visitor Notes of Guidance
We welcome visitors on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays (excluding public holidays) throughout the year between 8am and 11am and after 2pm.
When making a booking, please provide a list of the names and handicaps of all players. Payment of green fees is required, in full, before that booking can be confirmed. Bookings will not be taken for singles. Most leading credit cards are accepted for the payment of green fees.
In the event of a cancellation, green fees will only be refunded if the Club can re-sell the cancelled time(s), or notice of cancellation is communicated 48hours prior. Green fees are non-refundable/transferable except in the event of the course being closed for play; which decision will be taken by the Course Manager, in his absolute discretion.
SAGC is a walking course with a strong caddie program. Caddies are available and should be requested at least 24 hours in advance. Their fee is $250 for 18 holes exclusive of gratuity. Only ‘St Andrews’ Caddies will be permitted onto the course, and no spectators are allowed.
We have a limited number of single seater buggies available for hire at $250.00 per round; these are allocated on a first come first serve basis. Before using a buggy at St Andrews, a golfer must read and sign a Safety Policy Acknowledgement Form, a sample copy of which can be accessed below. Pull trolleys are available free of charge.
The club has a limited number of high-quality rental sets. If you require more than 4 sets please call the Pro Shop in advance to make inquiries.
All prices are stated to be inclusive of VAT where applicable and are correct at time of going to print.
Any personal data provided when submitting a request for a booking will be used by us solely to process and respond to the request.

The driving range, chipping area and putting green are available for your use, prior to play.
At St Andrews, we are committed to a pace of play of 4 hrs 10mins for 18 holes, which will ensure that everyone enjoys playing the course in a reasonable time. You can help us achieve this by playing from the tees that suit your ability, and always being ready to play when it is your turn. If your group is approached by a club employee about pace of play, please, as a courtesy to everyone else, do whatever is necessary to maintain your place on the course and keep up with the group in front of you.
There is no consistent weather warning system at St Andrews, and Visitors who choose to remain on the course in adverse weather conditions, particularly during thunder and lightning do so at their own risk. We strongly advise that you take shelter beneath the rain sheds or half-way houses.
We value our staff and they are encouraged and trained to provide the best possible service to our guests. If you wish to show your appreciation, any gratuity may be left with the service staff.
