Sirron Melville
Date of Birth: 11 August 1991

Boys 17 and Under – June 2009

Sirron has been playing golf since the age of 11 and represented Trinidad and Tobago as a member of the Junior Team since 2005 in The Caribbean Amateur Junior and the Stephen Ames Cup.
He has done well at the National level and regional level. He has gained further international exposure by playing in Florida in several junior  tournaments like the Xfactor junior tournament, the PARS Junior International and the Optimist Junior International.

Sirron is the Boy’s Captain.

 

Talin Rajendranath
Date of Birth: 6 October 1992 

Boys 17 and Under – June 2009 

Talin has represented Trinidad and Tobago since 2007 at the  Caribbean Amateur Junior Golf Championship, the Stephen Ames Cup, the Junior World Golf Qualifier, the Canadian Junior Golf Challenge.

In 2008, he was the Republic Bank Open Champion.
He is the present Petrotrin Pointe-à-Pierre Club Champion.

James Drew
Date of Birth: 19 June 1993

Boys 17 and Under – June 2009 

James has been playing golf for the past two years and this is his first time representing Trinidad and Tobago on he Junior Team.

James has done well in tournaments in Trinidad and Tobago as well as in Florida.

 

Jake Delaney
Date of Birth: 18 December 1994

Boys 15 and Under - June 2009

Jake has been playing golf competitively for about 4 years and this is his second time representing Trinidad and Tobago at the CAJGC.
He has won the 14-15 division of the Republic Bank Junior Open in 2009.

He has been a member of his high school golf team since 2007 and won the 2008 Collier County Junior Championships in Florida.
He has been a member of the All-Region golf team in 2009.

Jessel Zane Mohammed
Date of Birth: 9 November 1993

Boys 15 and Under - June 2009

This is Jessel's first time out representing Trinidad and Tobago, although he has been training with the team for a few years.
He has won numerous competitions in Trinidad and Tobago and has participated in several international tournaments. He was the most outstanding junior golfer in the Sagicor Men's Tournament in 2009.
Jessel has been fortunate to meet professional golfers like Charles Howell III, Justin Rose, Michelle Wie and many more. He hopes to go to College and play golf.

 

Robert Boocock
Date of Birth: 22 September 1994

Boys 15 and Under - June 2009

Robert has been playing golf since the age of 10 and has represented Trinidad and Tobago as a member of the national Junior Team since 2006 in The Caribbean Amateur Junior Golf Championships.

He has done well at the National level and regional level. Robert,despite his young age, is one of the team’s "veterans".

Matthew Marquez
Date of Birth: 31 October 1995

Boys 13 and Under – June 2009

Matthew started playing golf in August 2005.  He has been very successful and has won his age group at the 2008 and 2009 Republic Bank Junior Golf Open and was the overall boy’s champion in 2009. He also won the 2009 St. Andrew’s Junior Club Championship.  

This is Matthew’s second time representing Trinidad and Tobago at CAJGC.

Nathan Jack
Date of Birth: 23 November 1995

Boys 13 and Under – June 2009

Nathan has been playing golf since 2002 and has traveled extensively and played various courses internationally, developing  his experience.  This is Nathan’s first time representing Trinidad and Tobago at the CAJGC.

Nathan believes that golf has helped him focus more. Having traveled to many parts of the world,  he has had many diverse experiences.

Nathan’s goal is to develop his maximum potential in life using sports as a vehicle.

Monifa Sealy
Date of Birth: 8 March 1993
 

Girls 17 and Under – June 2009

Monifa has been representing Trinidad and Tobago at the CAJGCsince 2005.
Monifa is currently training in Florida where she has won many international junior championships.
She was named Girl’s Player of the Week by "Golfweek" on two occasions.

Monifa was nominated for the "Sportswoman of the Year Award 2008" and was a finalist for the "Youth of the Year Award 2008".

Monifa is the Girl’s Team Captain.

 

Aleema Jack
Date of Birth: 10 October 1992

Girls 17 and Under – June 2009

Aleema has been a member on the junior team at the CAJGC since 2006. She has also done well in numerous local, regional and  international tournaments. Some of the tournaments include Optimist International, US Kids Teen World, US Kids Golf and the Barbados Junior Open.

Aleema believes that "Sport through golf has allowed me to become a disciplined, honest and committed individual. I have been able to travel to many parts of the world and in so doing have new and diverse experiences. My goal in golf is to play at college level whilst pursuing an education."

Natalya Rahamatula
Date of Birth: 4 September 1993

Girls 15 and Under – June 2009

Natalya has represented Trinidad and Tobago at the CJAGC since 2004. In 2008 Natalya was a member of the Trinidad and Tobago team that participated in the 42nd International Children’s Games – sanctioned by the IOC and held in San Francisco where she placed 10th overall.

She has won her respective category in the Girls 13 and under at the Republic Bank Trinidad and Tobago Junior Open in 2004, 2005, 2007 and is the 2009 Girls under 15 and 2009 Overall Girl’s Champion.

Natalya balances her golf and academics with a solid active community based schedule.

Brittany Marquez
Date of Birth: 2 January 1994

Girls 15 and Under – June 2009

Brittany first started playing golf in December 2005 at Chaguaramas Golf Club. She is now a member of St. Andrew's Golf Club and Millennium Lakes Golf and Country Club.

2009 is Brittany's first year representing Trinidad and Tobago on the National Junior Team after being the reserve in 2007.

Brittany has done well in both the Junior Tournaments and Ladies Tournaments in Trinidad and Tobago.

 

Keziah Bailey
Date of Birth: 16 May 1997

Girls 13 and Under – June 2009 

Keziah has been involved with the game of golf since she was five years old.

This year, 2009,  will be the first time that Keziah is representing Trinidad and Tobago on the National Junior Golf Team. She was, however , chosen as a reserve for the Team in the Girls 13 years and under category in 2008.

Christina Ferreira
Date of Birth: 10 October 1995

Girls 13 and Under – June 2009 

This is Christina’s first time out representing Trinidad and Tobago. Christina is enthusiastic about golf and has only been playing golf since September 2008 when she joined the Republic Bank Right Start Programme in Chaguaramas.

Christina won the Girls 13 and Under Division in the Republic Bank Junior Golf Open in April 2009.
